Charlie Thellusson…

has been in catering since 1980 when he started as an apprentice chef in Belper, Derbyshire working for a French restaurant. He then worked in France at the age of 18 for 2 years before coming back to England to work in renowned kitchens in the UK. The pinnacle of this was working for the Roux brothers at Le Gavroche which held the prestigious 3 Michelin stars at the time.

 

After working in London for many years he came back to Derbyshire and set up The Red Olive Catering Company in 2001. Since then Red Olive have gone from strength to strength and have become one of the most experienced catering companies in the East Midlands.

 

Charlie, still to this day has a real passion for good food accompanied by impeccable service.

 

Charlie mixes his days working in the office, still cooking up some ideas and on event days he will be front of house ensuring everything goes smoothly.
